60th Anniversary!
The association began in 1931 under the name of Ottawa Master Plumbers’ Association.
On May 6th, 1966, association was incorporated under the name the Mechanical Contractors Association of Ottawa
In November 1967, Sheet Metal Contractors of Ottawa joined MCA Ottawa.
Our Mission
MCA Ottawa’s mission is to bridge management and labour. We aim to ensure fair negotiations, foster positive union relationships, and support the mechanical trades. We are dedicated to creating a stable and prosperous environment for our members.
